1. Re. the U.S. Financial System:
1a. What is your view of the
monetary system in the U.S. today?
It is out of control and has no basis in real, commonsense monetary
philosophy.
1b. What is primarily responsible for a large percentage of our
nation’s current economic, social and political problems?
The United States Congress!
1c. What corrective actions would you work to implement?
Repeal any and all unconstitutional laws. End the Federal Reserve
System and return to the gold standard. Restore free markets. That
should do for a start.
1d. Do you agree or disagree with the actions the Federal Reserve
has taken to address the financial/economic crisis, and why?
Completely disagree! The Fed is perhaps the largest part of the
problem, certainly not the solution.
2. Re. U.S. sovereignty:
2a. What are your thoughts on American
sovereignty in an age of globalism?
We must strive to maintain our sovereignty and not turn it over to
some "global government."
2b.What is the biggest source of influence and actions in U.S.
government agencies and policies that has been damaging to American
sovereignty?
Wow! There are so many. For me the bottom line would have to be
corrupt politicians and bureaucrats who care more about themselves and
padding their bank accounts than doing what is right by the
Constitution.
2c. What can be done to limit these influences?
Elect men and women of good conscience and continually hold them
accountable.
3. What are your views on the necessity of the Patriot Act to
protect America?
I believe that the Patriot oversteps constitutional restrictions
placed on law-enforcement and is rife for abuse. If there is probable
cause to believe that someone may be a terrorist then present that
evidence and follow the proper constitutional procedures for acquiring
warrants, etc.
4. Re. Foreign Policy:
4a. What is your opinion on current US
foreign policy?
Insane! Out of control. No commonsense. We are broke and cannot
afford to continuing being the world's police force (never should have
been).
4b. What is your stance about the “war on terror”?
Protect our nation's borders and respond to those who commit acts of
terrorism. Do not occupy other nations and get involved in
nation-building in an effort to confront it.
4c. Do you understand the justification or the illegality of this
policy? Be Specific.
If I understand this question properly our justification has been one
of preemptive protection, by attacking before being attacked. The
problem is that we are attacking and occupying nations, not going after
particular individuals or cells. We need not use armies to occupy
nations. The illegal aspect is the fact that we have not seen Congress
fulfill its responsibility to declare war (who would we declare it on?),
but instead have given the President of the U.S. carte blanche to do as
he sees fit.
